Do you remember those four prisoners who escaped from the Red Deer Remand Centre back on June 11th?

All of them are now back behind bars after the last one was arrested by Rocky Mountain House RCMP during the noon hour yesterday (June 29).

28-year-old Dallas Albert Rain had been on the run since he and three others escaped from the Remand Centre.  Police were alerted to the escape just after midnight on June 12th.

One of the escapees was quickly located and taken into custody.  Two others, 26-year-old Quinn Russel Peterson and 52-year-old Douglas Brian Power were arrested the afternoon of June 12th in a farmer's field by Blackfalds RCMP after they stole a pickup truck and an ATV.

Rain did a better job of evading police, being on the lam for over 17 days.  He remains in police custody and is awaiting return to the Remand Centre which he escaped from.
