Stampede goers saw a lot of little cowboys and cowgirls around the grounds Wednesday, July 13th.

BMO Kids Day offered children under 12 and and an accompanying adult free entry from 7a.m. to 9a.m. Wednesday morning.

As per Stampede tradition, little ones and their families were treated to a pancake breakfast.

The free breakfast was served up in the Grandstand Courtyard, while every parents favourite thunder sticks were handed out.

A free Grandstand show had kids on the edge of their seats, despite breif periods of light rain.

On the other side of the grounds, Treehouse musical duo Splash and Boots had little ones singing and dancing over the course of the day.

Various areas of the grounds opened up early at 9 a.m, including The Stampede Market, Western Oasis and Agrium Western Event Centre.

Kids received free coupons for the Midway rides that were available until 6 p.m.
