After days of shivering through bitter windchills and plenty of snow, there's some good news for the weekend.

According to Environment Canada, a chinook will be rolling through the Airdrie area as early as tomorrow evening (November 9), meaning the temperature will slowly climb above zero.

By Saturday, the high could reach 2 degrees, with Sunday reaching 1 and Monday hitting 3.

Unfortunately, it won't last long as the long range forecast sees daytime temperatures drop below freezing on Wednesday, November 15th.
