A Cochrane residence was broken into sometime between August 7 and August 11, resulting in close to $30,000 worth of items being stolen.

The Cochrane RCMP responded to the call on August 11, after the home owners came home to find their front door wide open and lights on that had been off when they left.

The rural residence, located on Township Road 272 in Rocky View County had a laptop stolen along with various pieces of jewellery, bottles of liquor, and belt buckles.

Cochrane RCMP are looking for any leads that would assist in the investigation.
