There was a heavy police presence in the Luxstone area earlier today.

 Airdrie RCMP would like to inform the public that the police operation which occurred on Luxstone Road in Airdrie is now over.

At no time there was a danger to the public. 

Airdrie RCMP would like to thank the public for allowing the members to do their jobs safely without interference. 

No further information will be released at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
