Gas prices are striking horror in the hearts of drivers this Halloween.

Overnight, prices at many gas stations in Airdrie took a 16 cent leap, landing at 114.9 cents per litre.

As of 11:00am, some stations were still selling at yesterday's (October 30) price of 98.9 cents per litre.
