After four weeks of disturbing testimony from dozens of witnesses, the triple murder trial for Douglas Garland begins closing arguments this morning.

The trial adjourned on Thursday, after Garland's defense team told the court they wouldn't be calling any evidence in the trial. That means Garland will not testify in his own defense.

The crown wrapped up it's case on Thursday by showing dramatic night time video of the accused being chased through a farming field.

57 year old Garland is charged with three counts of first degree murder in the deaths of five year old Nathan O'Brien and his grandparents, 66 year old Alvin Liknes and 53 year old Kathy Liknes.

Their bodies have never been found.
