A fraud complaint made in July has resulted in 2 arrests on August 17 by the Cochrane RCMP.
RCMP successfully arrested and charged 30-year-old Kristin Stevenson and 34-year-old Taylor Irvine with fraud after they had used a stolen credit card to obtain merchandise from multiple businesses.
The arrest was made at a Cochrane business where the suspects had intended to use the stolen card.
Both Stevenson and Irvine have been charged with three counts of fraud under $5000, as well as one count of theft under $5000 from an incident in July.
Irvine also has an additional charge of assault.
After the arrest, Irvine was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date set for October 4, while Stevenson remains in custody to appear in court on Friday, August 26.
