Airdrie RCMP are investigating an armed robbery that took place during the early hours of the morning (March 4).

At 12:09 a.m., a male entered the Fas Gas gas station on Main Street and demanded money from the till. He had brandished a handgun and his face was covered with a plastic Halloween mask. He did not obtain any money and ended up running south into an alley.

He is described as a Caucasian male with a slim build and approximately 5'5", wearing a black hoodie, black pants, black jacket, and white runners.
