Davis Chevrolet announced a new partnership with Dare To Care, a National Award winning bullying prevention program, on November 18.

Founder Lisa Dixon-Wells said the partnership will allow Dare To Care to work with school staff, parents and students in Airdrie to prevent bullying.

"This partnership will allow the cost of the program to be subsidized greatly for schools in Airdrie."

Davis Chevrolet General Manager Glenn Smaha believes it's the role of local businesses to partner with organizations that will make a positive impact in the community.

"We've made a conscious decision to be part of the community as a whole," said Smaha, "Our customers live here, the people that we employ and have on our team live here, their children live here."

Dare To Care focuses on early bullying prevention, and works primarily with students in Kindergarten up to Grade 9.
