The Alberta Education Curriculum Survey is concerning many Albertans.

Some participants believe that some of the questions on the survey are suggestive.

"If the questions are leading, then they are going to be getting the answers they already have in place," said Bev LaPeare, trustee with Rocky View School Board.

LaPeare feels that the first part of the survey gives you no choice but to answer a certain way.

The way the questions are directed could lead to a favorable outcome for Alberta Education.

The results will be used to help build the next curriculum here in Alberta.

"If they've already got it set up the way that they want it, and then have leading questions that come to the same conclusions, then it's pretty easy to say, 'well we spoke to the public and this is how they want it,'" said LaPeare.

Parents are still encouraged to participate in the survey and have their voice heard. RVS will be holding a parent/board council meeting in the near future.
