In the early morning of June 8, 2018, a massive structure fire in the Fireside community in Cochrane broke out and the Cochrane RCMP General Investigation Section are still looking for any information from the residents.

Constable Kary Moore with the Cochrane RCMP says that no information is unimportant.

"Information and details can come in all sizes. The information may not seem like much to you, but for the bigger picture, it may be the piece we're missing."

Information that may prove valuable could be:

  • Strange vehicles in the area
  • Suspicious behaviour
  • Known attempted crimes in the area at the time
  • Known committed crimes

Any information regarding the fire should be presented to the Cochrane RCMP at their number 403-851-8000 or present the information at the detachment itself at 359-1st Street East. If you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
