Canada's 151st birthday seemed like a good time to celebrate the completion of a Canada 150 project.

The City Of Airdrie unveiled the Canada 150 Legacy Art Project to the community at a ceremony yesterday (July 1) at it's location at Nose Creek Park.

Located within the sculpture is the Canada 150 Time Capsule.  Residents of Airdrie contributed special mementos that have a special meaning to them, and are related to Airdrie, to be placed inside the time capsule.

The capsule is scheduled to be opened on Canada's Bicentennial in 2067, so make sure you stick around.
