On December 8, 2015, Airdrie RCMP began investigating suspicious bank transactions at a local Airdrie Bank.

Airdrie Investigators collected Social Insurance Numbers and Photo ID's from the Branch Manager. 

After a lengthy investigation, Cst. Jason Curtis said that Curtis Porter, 37 of Red Deer, was arrested and charged with fraud, identity theft, and identity fraud on June 9.

Porter was arrested in Calgary at the Calgary Remand Centre where he was being held on unrelated charges.

A second suspect, Sasha Porter, 34 of Red Deer, has been identified but not located. A warrant has been issued for Porters arrest for identity fraud, fraud, and identity theft.

The RCMP want to thank everyone for their assistance in the investigation, and would also like to request assistance with any information that would further assist in locating Sasha Porter.
