Airdrie RCMP have officially charged five youths in connection with the bear spray incident at Cross Iron Mills on October 26.

Three 13 year old and two 12 year old males where arrested on Tuesday (October 31) in connection to the incident. Their names won't be released because of their age.

All five have been charged each with robbery, possession of stolen property and two counts of assault with a weapon.

The first court appearance for the incident is scheduled for tomorrow (November 3) in Airdrie Provincial Court, when one of the 13 year old suspects will appear.

The remaining four have court dates set for November 9 and 16.
