As Airdrie and Rocky View get ready for the Municipal Election on October 16th, one of our neighbours to the north is doing the same.

Nine Candidates are running for this year's vote in the Town of Carstairs, including two for the Mayor's seat.

Current Mayor Lance Colby is running for reelection and will be challenged by Cameron Tolley.

Four of the incumbent Councillors will also be running for reelection this year: Alex Gil, Rick Blair, Dean Allen and Marty Ratz.

The four will be joined by Bob Green, Shannon Wilcox and Rhonda Kramer-Wise in the race to win the six seats on town council.
