An Airdrie woman was dragged into the street as she tried to stop her vehicle from being stolen on Monday December 12th.

Jody Cunningham was warming her dark grey Ford FLEX in the driveway while she stood just a few feet away in her garage. That's when a dark grey truck pulled into her neighbours driveway.

"Two people were in it just looking down at their phones, so didn't think anything of it, thought they were waiting for Varagesale or something, and stepped back into my garage," said Cunningham.

She then heard the door of her vehicle open, and discovered a female passenger of the truck hoping into the driver seat. She had dark hair, with black sunglasses and a black jacket.

Cunningham was then dragged across the street while trying to hold onto the door. Eventually, she was forced to let go, and her vehicle followed the truck with it's male driver.

"I'm angry, it's like, I'm a nice person, I'm a good person, and I was standing right there," said Cunningham.

The dark grey 2010 Ford FLEX has the license plate ZZH-515. The suspect's truck is believed to be a dark grey Ford, with a picture of a dog or a horse on the back window.

If you see the vehicle, you are asked to contact the Airdrie RCMP immediately.
