A couple of weeks ago, the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association made the announcement of several resignations within their Board of Directors and the General Manager position.

Already, the rodeo association has begun taking positive steps forward in filling the now-vacant positions.

Taking the place as Committee Director, Renne Reidy has a strong passion for the sport and has a long-standing rodeo background.

Meanwhile, three time Canadian Saddle Bronc Riding Champion Dustin Flundra has stepped forward and taken the spot of the Saddle Bronc Riding Director.

Another champion is making his way onto the board of directors; Tanner Girletz, seven time CFR qualifier and 2006 Canadian Champion, has taken the Bull Riding Director position.

All three individuals will be starting their new roles immediately, and the CPRA has put out a 'Call for Nominations' to fill the remaining vacancies.
