Airdrie RCMP is asking for your help in identifying a male suspect responsible for a break and enter and theft that occurred within Genesis Place. 

On August 7th, 2018 at approximately 6:50 pm, a man with a small dog entered Genesis Place on East Lake Boulevard in Airdrie. 

Once inside, the male took a Genesis place employee's backpack from behind the counter at the information desk. He then returned a short time later after having stolen a debit card. 

The man then proceeded to jump the counter at the Fresh Select Cafe and took an undisclosed amount of cash and food items.

He then fled on foot to the Petro-Canada on East Lake Crescent where he made purchases with the stolen debit card and departed in a taxi.  

He is described as a Caucasian male with brown hair, a thin build and unshaved. he was wearing a Mean Hakeem "RMBL" black t-shirt, blue jeans, black and white Nike shoes, sunglasses, a gold chain and a backpack. The man was also walking a Jack Russel Terrier-type dog.
