The past few months have kept Airdrie musician Christian Hudson busy.

A successful collaboration with Calgary hip-hop artist Jordan Williams, resulted in a song titled "Wake Up".

"With his empathy, and his ability to write, he put together just an incredible song, and I got to pitch in a little bit here and there." said Hudson.

Hudson performed at the Sled Island Music Festival with Verses Vs. Homelessness, which featured members of the Calgary Drop-In Center's 'Shelter From The Storm' project.

While preparing for his Coca Cola Stage Performance, some of Hudson's music equipment was stolen from his vehicle, including his laptop and Blue Fender T-Bucket 300CE guitar.

"I've had a couple friends who are lending me some of their equipment, so I really appreciate that," said Hudson, "I had a friend who has given me the kind of pedals that I need, and someone who's lending me a guitar, my friends have just been great."

Hudson will be featured on the Coca Cola Stage for Sneak-A-Peek night on July 7th, which offers a 50% discount on admission, and a first look at the 2016 Calgary Stampede.

The show starts at 7pm, and Hudson encourages every one to come by to check out the performance.
