On Sunday, June 12, over 50 students from Airdrie filled the gym at CW Perry Middle School to take a dance lesson from Justin Bieber's backup dancer.

Aubree Storm, who has been dancing with Bieber for the last four years, taught the kids a full sequence of moves to the Jackson Five's song ABC.

Storm, a friend and former fellow dancer of Roel Suasin, the Dance Team Director and 6th grade Teacher at CW Perry, came to help Suasin with a fundraiser to help the dance team achieve their goal of going to LA next year.

"Aubree and I met in LA when she first moved there," said Suasin. "I was dancing there for a year or two and then we met and we took classes together, and we did a gig together, we actually danced with an upcoming artist named Little Bubba, it was quite the tour."

Suasin and his Co-Director, Krissa Donahue are always looking for fun ways to fundraise for the team.

"Mr. Suasin and I are constantly working on gaining those community partnerships 24/7, so when the opportunity comes up we take it and go forth with it," said Donahue.

Storm has worked on multiple projects starting with High School Musical in 2007, Nickelodeon's Dance on Sunset series in 2008 and many more up to her start with Justin Bieber in 2012.

"I have toured with Willow Smith, 'I whip my hair back and forth' and I danced for a Japanese artist named Jin Akanishi," said Storm.

Suasin and Donahue are looking at more ways to use Sausin's dance contacts to have more events like this one next year.
