It's not just your favourite T-Swift song, it's a question you're asking after today's snowfall: "Are we out of the woods?"

According to Environment Canada Meteorologist Dan Kulak, not really.

"The pattern that we do have is somewhat damp and below normal looking right through the next seven days in the forecast period here."

Kulak expects the weather to return to double digits, but only around 10 degrees, which is around the average high for this time of year.

Of course here in Airdrie, it's no big surprise that the snow creeps in when your neighbours are looking to hit the patio.

"Calgary and portions of Southern Alberta, Airdrie area, the greatest likelihood of snow is actually in these spring months. This is not really winter, it's actually what we would normally consider to be the transition from winter through spring."

Kulak says that April and May can sometimes bring the most snowfall for the year for the Airdrie area.
