You may want to enjoy today's beautiful weather while you can, a change is coming.

This week Airdrie is an experiencing warmer than usual temperatures, this has to do with the warm air mass lingering above us but that is soon to change.

Dan Kulak Meteorologist with Environment Canada says Arctic Air is coming our way.

"The outlook we have right now is suggesting that we may stay in the artic air for two weeks so if you like the warm air right now enjoy it because cold air is coming and it is going to linger for a while."

With the arctic air coming our way the possibility of snow is present, however, Kulak doesn't think there will be much snow.

"It doesn't look like a lot of precipitation as the cold air moves in although there is a possibility of lots of precipitation when cold air comes through, it's important to stay aware of what weather is forming."
