The internet has been abuzz of stories about packages being delivered to homes and then being stolen from the front porch.  This is another of those stories.

Airdrie RCMP are looking for your help after a parcel was stolen from a home in the Luxstone Square area on December 4th.

Corporal Michael Dunsmore says it happened while the homeowner was watching.

"The homeowner reported to police that he observed through a home security system that a package had been dropped off on his front step and he observed a male retrieving that package from his step and fleeing the area on foot."

Dunsmore says the suspect is described as Caucasian, approximately 5' 7" tall and between 14 and 16 years of age.  He was wearing a red ball cap and a black hood at the time.

If you have information about this theft you can contact the Airdrie RCMP or Crimestoppers.
