Environment Canada urges you to be careful if you are going to be spending time outside. Some things you can do to keep you and your family safe are to use sunscreen, take breaks from the heat inside cooled buildings, stay hydrated and avoid leaving any person or animal inside a vehicle for any length of time.

Keep an eye out for any symptoms of heat exhaustion or heat stroke, such as high body temperature, confusion, lack of sweat, fainting and unconsciousness.
