Some Airdrie teens took a dip in icy water Wednesday afternoon in support of a good cause.
Members of Airdrie’s Building Futures Program and Rocky View Leadership Academy launched their “Stuffies for Toughies” fundraiser.
A total of $1,061 was raised during the Polar Bear Plunge, which will go toward buying stuffed animals for kids at the Alberta Children’s Hospital.
The teens raised the funds by getting people to pay to dunk them in an ice-cold dunk tank.
