Airdrie RCMP is hoping you can help them identify a suspect responsible for a break and enter and a vehicle theft from a parkade in Airdrie.

The theft took place just after midnight on July 3rd when two male suspects gained entry into the underground parkade at 9000-403 McKenzie Way in Airdrie.  RCMP Constable Dan Martin picks up the story from there.

"The males were in the parkade for a decent amount of time.  They broke into two vehicles, stealing a GPS from one and a wallet from the other one.  Then they were able to gain entry into a blue 2010 Nissan Altima which contained the keys to the car and a wallet inside as well and they exited the parkade in that vehicle."

Martin says the theft wasn't noticed until later in the morning when the suspects used stolen bank cards that were located in the wallet.  The RCMP are still trying to recover the car.

Martin explains that the video surveillance in the building obtained a reasonably clear photo of one of the suspects.  "He's described as Caucasian with a brush cut and blonde hair, approximately 5'10".  He was wearing a grey hoodie with a red t-shirt underneath, blue jeans with blue sneakers and a chain."

If you recognize the man or have any information about this incident, you're asked to contact the Airdrie RCMP or Crimestoppers.
