After a hazy weekend in Airdrie, air quality appears to be looking up.

While forest fires rage in British Columbia, most places in Alberta average a low risk on the air quality health index. Though no formal weather statement stands, Calgary and area currently stand at moderate risk.

A little rain should help improve quality on Tuesday, increasing forecasted quality by one or two points. Due to the dry conditions, Airdrie stands under a fire advisory.

Wildfire smoke and poor air quality can effect health and well-being, from a scratchy throat, to more serious conditions. Consider rescheduling or postponing extraneous activities if you're feeling any symptoms.
