One more Airdronian has recovered from COVID-19 and provincial recoveries have now surpassed 6,000.

To date, 6,048 Albertans have recovered after catching the virus, leaving 714 active cases in the province.

22 new cases of COVID-19 were reported on Tuesday, as well as one additional death for a new total of 139.

There are currently 45 people receiving treatment in hospital for COVID-19, five of which are in the ICU.

In Airdrie, the latest stats show just four active cases. 42 Airdronians have recovered so far and one person has died.

Five cases remain active in the surrounding Rocky View County while 39 residents have recovered.
