We are expecting above seasonal temperatures for a few days this week.

According to Dan Kulak, Meteorologist from Environment Canada, part of the reason is due to a change in winds.

"The weather pattern is shifting, rather than the winds coming from the artic areas it's more coming from the Pacific and that wind is what's giving us this milder weather this week."

This week is forecasting that Tuesday, Friday and Saturday will all be above twenty degrees.

"It does look like we are moving up into the twenties this week  before a little dip in the middle of the week then heading back up to warmer weather for the weekend"

Environment Canada has 30 day and seasonal forecasts, however, Kulak says the projections are still rough estimates and a lot of the expected precipitation will be found in thundershowers.
