The Alberta Major Bantam Hockey Leauge got back into action this weekend, and the Airdrie Xtreme took to the ice against the Okotoks Oilers yesterday for their first game of 2019.

The Xtreme faced off against the Oilers in their home Ron Ebbeson Areana, but could not take the win. Fortunately, they didn't take a loss either and tied 2-2 with the Oilers. Aidan Doornbos and Owen Jones scored for the Xtreme. The goaltending was good for the Xtreme, and they were out-shot 43-34.

The tie keeps the Xtreme at the bottom of the Ram South Division.

Today, the Xtreme will have another chance to grab a win against the Calgary Northstars in Cochrane at 5:15.
