The Airdrie Thunder take their impressive 16 and 0 record with them tonight (November 9) as they travel to Stettler and a date with the Lightning in the Heritage Junior Hockey League.

It's the second meeting of the year for the two clubs.  The first time they met was in the season opener for both teams and the Thunder started their win streak with a decisive 13 - 2 victory.

Stettler has had an up and down season and is sporting a record of five wins and six losses and are tied for fourth place in the HJHL Northern Division with the Blackfalds Wranglers.  Atop that division is the Thunder who hold a 14 point lead over the second place Mountainview Colts.

Game time is 7:30 pm in the Stettler Recreation Centre.  It's the only game of the weekend for Airdrie.

Last night the Okotoks Bisons scored 3:46 into overtime to edge the Cochrane Generals 2 - 1.
