Rylan Plante-Crough scored a third period hat trick and added an assist last night (September 29) to lead the Airdrie Thunder to their fourth consecutive victory to start the Heritage Junior Hockey League season, a 7 - 1 victory over the visiting High River Flyers.

Plante-Crough's linemate and last week's HJHL Player of the Week Jordan McConnell added two goals and an assist to help the Thunder to their win.  The two have piled up 19 points apiece this season.

Dane Bennett-Nimijean and Tristan Paquette rounded out the Airdrie scoring.

In their four wins to start the season, Airdrie has outscored the opposition 37 to 8.

In Cochrane last night, the Mountainview Colts spoiled the Generals home and season opener with a 4 - 1 win.

The Thunder will pay a visit to Didsbury for a meeting with the Colts on Wednesday before returning home to face the Generals on Friday at 8:00 pm at the Ron Ebbesen Arena.
