It's hard to call two wins in a row being on a roll, but the way the Airdrie Thunder accomplished them, it's hard not to.

The Thunder demolished their opposition on their opening weekend in the Heritage Junior Hockey League and will try to keep it up with a pair of home games this weekend.

Tonight (September 28) the Blackfalds Wranglers come calling for an 8:00 pm start at the Ron Ebbesen Arena.  It's Blackfalds' first game of the season.

Tomorrow, the Thunder will face off against the High River Flyers.  Puck drop for that one is 7:15 pm.

The Flyers will be coming off tonight's game with the Mountainview Colts from Didsbury.  High River goes into the game with a 2 and 2 record in the HJHL while the Colts have won one and lost one to start the season.

The Colts are on the road for their second game this weekend which also happens to be the Cochrane Generals season opener.  The two teams square off tomorrow night at 7:00 pm in the Cochrane Arena.
