The Airdrie Thunder will be looking to add to what`s been a dream season in the Heritage Junior Hockey League by giving the Red Deer Vipers a nightmare tonight (December 21).

The Thunder are 26 and 2 on the year and hope to improve on that record when they meet the Vipers, the team closest to them in the Northern Division standings tonight at 8:00 pm in the Ron Ebbesen Arena.

The Vipers are also in the midst of an impressive season in the HJHL with a mark of 18 wins, 5 losses, and 1 tie and handed the Thunder their second loss of the year the last time the clubs met on December 1st.  Earlier in the season, Airdrie won 4 - 0 over the Vipers.

The next game on the schedule for Airdrie is on Friday, January 4th when they host the Blackfalds Wranglers.

In another game tonight the Mountainview Colts entertain the Coaldale Copperheads.  That game goes in Carstairs starting at 8:00 pm.
