The Airdrie Thunder rolled to their 31st win of the season in the Heritage Junior Hockey League last night (January 18).

Rylan Plante-Crough and Tristan Paquette had two goals each as the Thunder downed the Stettler Lightning 6 - 2.  Plante-Crough also added an assist in the game while league scoring leader and HJHL Player of the Week Jordan McConnell picked up three assists.  McConnell now has 113 points this season.

Cooper Page and Jason Wenzel each had a goal and an assist for Airdrie.  

Jackson Little blocked 36 of the 38 shots fired his way to get the win in goal.  Little barred the door for the final 40 minutes of the game.

In Didsbury, the Mountainview Colts picked up another win when they beat the Three Hills Thrashers 8 - 2.  

The Colts have another home encounter tonight when they face the Ponoka Stampeders in a game starting at 8:00 pm in the Didsbury Rec Complex. 

Mountainview will pay a visit to Airdrie in the next game for the Thunder.  The two teams will meet next Friday night in the Ron Ebbesen Arena.
