The Airdrie Thunder will have home ice advantage in the Heritage Junior Hockey League tonight (November 23).

The 19 and 1 Thunder play host to the Medicine Hat Cubs in a game that gets underway at 8:00 pm in the Ron Ebbesen Arena.

When the two teams met October 13th, Airdrie rolled to an easy 6 - 1 victory.

It's been an up and down year for the Cubs who have a record of 6 - 9 and 2 and hold down the sixth spot in the Southern Division of the HJHL.

Airdrie is first in the North and holds a commanding 13 point lead over second place Red Deer.

Also on tonight's schedule, the Cochrane Generals make a trip to Didsbury to face the Mountainview Colts.

Puck drops for that one at 8:00 pm in the Didsbury Recreation Complex.
