It seems as though no one can stop the Airdrie Thunder this season.

The Airdrie Techmation Thunder are a powerhouse this season in the Heritage Junior Hockey League. In yesterday's game against the Three Hills Thrashers, the Thunder won 16-1, bringing their incredible record to 25 wins and only 2 losses this season. 

When the two teams last faced each other, the Thunder defeated the Thrashers 29-1.

Newcomer Tyler Petrie has continued to make himself at home with with the Thunder as he scored a hat trick in his seven-point night.

Forward Tristan Paquette also scored a hat trick, while Jordan McConnell and Dane Bennett-Nimijean each scored a pair. Tyler McCary, Michael Dubois, Rylan Plante-Crough, Brett LeGrandeur, Hunter Chodyka and Logan Rutherford also contributed goals.

The Thunder will host the Ponoka Stampeders on Friday at 8 p.m. in the Ron Ebbesen Arena.
