In the HJHL, the Airdrie Thunder experienced their third loss of the season.

 The Airdrie Techmation Thunder travelled up the Red Deer last night to face the Vipers, the team ranked directly below them in the Northern Division. The Vipers defeated the Thunder in a hard-fought game 7-6, making for the Thunder's third loss of the entire season.

In other action, the Mountainview Colts lost to the Stettler Lightning last night 5-3.

Today the action continues with the Cochrane Generals taking on the Coaldale Copperheards in their home Cochrane Arena.
