The George McDougall Mustangs faced their rivals, the Bert Church Chargers, in the RVS Bronze Medal Game last night where they emerged victorious with a 33-26 final score.

Bert Church was leading the game at the end of the first quarter, completely shutting out the Mustang offence with Charger Blaise Newberry catching two touchdown passes and extra points making it 19-0.

However, the Mustangs mounted a comeback and were able to score a touchdown to make the score 19-7 going into the second half.

Mustang player Zach Thiessen managed to grab three touchdown passes in the second half to bring the Mustang's comeback to a close

The Chargers, unable to match the Mustang's booming offence, only managed to score one more touchdown to make the final score 33-26.

The Airdrie rivals fought a hard game, with the Mustangs taking home the bronze.
