Two Airdrie Hockey teams were in Calgary and Viking last weekend for another showcase for the Hockey Super League.

The Airdrie Stars played four games from October 26th to October 28th at the East Calgary Twin Arenas

The Stars lost all four of their games but were impressed with the performance of their goaltender Konnor Broadfoot whoc faced nearly 100 shots and ended with an save percentage of 86.

Puur Athletics from Airdrie were at the Viking Carena Complex and won one game over the weekend with two losses and a tie.

In their only win over the Saints Pro Academy, Ryker Swanson picked up a hat trick, the final score was 6-4.

The next showcase for the Hockey Super League runs November 9th to 11th with Puur Athletics heading to East Calgary and the Airdrie Stars in Three Hills.
