The ROcky View High School Football Leauge continued this weekend with each Airdrie team seeing some action.

On Friday, the Bert Church Chargers shut out the Chestermere Lakers 34-0 to grab their second win of the season.

Also on Friday, W.H Croxford traveled to Springbank and received a 16-2 loss, courtesy of the Pheonix.

On Saturday, the George McDougall Mustangs visited the number-one ranked Cochrane Cobras and were shut out 51-0 by the powerful reigning champs.

In the standing, Cochrane remains in first with three wins and zero losses. However, Bert Church is catching up, with two wins and zero losses, and remains in second. The McDougall Mustangs are in fifth with no wins and three losses and the W.H Croxford Cavaliers are in sixth with no wins and two losses.

The Alberta weekly Top Ten Rankings for high school teams were, once again, released on Sunday. They show no change for Cochrane in the Tier Three rankings, with the Cobras remaining in first. However, in Tier Two, an Airdrie team has broken into the rankings. The Bert Church Chargers are now ranked number ten and are the only ranked Airdrie team.

The RVS football action continues next Saturday, with Bert Church welcoming the last-ranked Bow Valley in Ed Eggerer Athletic Park at 12:00 and W.H Croxford facing off against George McDougall at 2:30.
