The Rocky View Attack didn't get the start they were hoping for last night (May 16th) when they took on the Cardinals in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League.

It took the Cardinals no time at all to get their feet moving and put four goals in the back of the net in under ten minutes, en route to a 7-5 win.

After nearly twelve minutes of play, Shaelyn Lewis answered the call for the Attack and put one behind the goalie to make the game 4-1.

The Cardinals would go on to score again by the end of the first.

Both teams were able to get another point under their belt in the second with Gabrielle Gilbert-Murray scoring for the Attack.

When the third period came around the Attack began to claw their way up the scoreboard with Gilbert-Murray and Cora McEachern sinking another three into the mesh to make the game 6-5.

With only three minutes left the Attack couldn't hold and the Cardinals scored to clinch the win

Next up for the Attack is a game against the Axemen on May 23rd.
