Dillon Dube with the Calgary Flames and Ty Rattie with the Edmonton Oilers both picked up wins during some NHL action last night.

Cochrane's Dube and the Flames travelled down to Michigan for a chance to face a struggling Detroit Red Wings team. The Red Wings were on a five-game losing streak going into the game and left with one more loss. Johnny Gaudreau scored once and added three assists as the Flames dumped the Wings 5 - 3.  For the Flames it was their second straight win.  Tonight the Flames are in Boston to face the Bruins in a game starting at 5:00 pm.

Ty Rattie from Airdrie and the Oilers faced the Arizona Cotoyes while on the road and in the middle of a six-game losing streak. However, thanks to the offense of captain Connor MacDavid who scored twice and some impressive goaltending from Mikko Koskinen who stopped 29 shots, the Oilers finally broke the losing streak, winning 3-1.

Rattie didn't get on the scoresheet last night.  On Saturday he picked up three assists despite the Oilers losing 7 - 4 against the San Jose Sharks.

The Oilers won't play again until Saturday when they travel to Las Angeles to play the Kings.
