The Brandon Wheat Kings were left to clean up the oil spill from the Edmonton Oil Kings win after last nights game.

Airdrie native Jake Neighbours is a left win for the winning team and has 19 points overall this season.

The Oil Kings won the game during an exciting overtime shootout, making the final score of 4-3.

The Wheat Kings sure didn't make the win easy for the Oil Kings, the game started off with the Wheat Kings scoring a goal in the first period followed by two more in the second.

But the Oil Kings were ready to chop the crop, by scoring a goal in the second and two more in the final period, tying the game and leading the game to the overtime shootout.

The Oil Kings are currently in 1st place in the WHL Central Division and place 7th overall.

They will be taking off to play the Prince Alberta Raiders for Friday's game at 7:00 pm.
