Nose Creek Swimmers, Coach, on Their Way to Western Canada Summer Games

The Nose Creek Swim Association (NCSA) is so excited they can hardly stand it!

Yesterday (April 18), four members of the club were selected for Team Alberta that will compete this August at the Western Canada Summer Games in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.

As if that wasn't exciting enough, one of the NCSA coaching staff was named as a coach for Team Alberta.

The swimmers are Sean Penner, who'll compete in the 50m and 100m freestyle and Nathan Wong who'll swim in the 100m and 200m fly. Two NCSA para-swimmers also made Team Alberta, Alex Sharpe and Aidan Meller.

Their selection was based on their performances at the Spring Championships and Westerns.

Alexx Diep, Assistant Head Coach of NCSA, was named as one of five members of the Team Alberta coaching staff.
