The Airdrie Techmation Thunder's forward Jordan McConnell has earned the title of Player of the Week in the Heritage Junior Hockey League, for the second time. 

In an impressive performance over the past weekend, McConnell scored twice in the game against the Medicine Hat Cubs and added a pair of assists in the Thunder's 9-4 win.

In the following night's game against the Cochrane Generals, he scored a hat-trick and picked up three assists helping the Thunder with their 8-4 victory.

McConnell leads the league in goals (35), assists (43), and points (78).
