Jordan McConnell of the Airdrie Thunder has put up some very impressive numbers in the Heritage Junior Hockey League this season.  

The most recent impressive number is three, as in three Player of the Week honours this season in the HJHL.

McConnell has been named the HJHL Player of the Week for the week ending January 13th.  During that time, the Thunder scored a pair of convincing victories, of which McConnell was a big part.

In Friday night's 21 - 0 shellacking of the Three Hills Thrashers, McConnell picked up a hattrick and also added six assists for a nine-point night.

Then on Sunday, McConnell turned in a two goal and two assist performance in a 10 - 0 victory over the Ponoka Stampeders.

So far this season, 20-year-old McConnell has at least one point in all 29 games he's played in as Airdrie has rolled to a 30 and 2 record.  He leads the league in scoring with a remarkable 45 goals and 65 assists for 110 points.
