Though they didn't have much impact on the scoresheet, the players from our area on the Western Hockey League teams in playoff action went a perfect three for three in the games they were involved in last night (April 6).

The Moose Jaw Warriors and Airdrie's Barrett Sheen faced off in Game One of the second-round with the Swift Current Broncos last night and beat them   5 - 3.

Zachary Cox of Balzac couldn't add to his two-goal total in the playoffs but his Lethbridge Hurricanes handed the Brandon Wheat Kings a 5 - 1 setback in Game One in Lethbridge.

Connor Bouchard of Cochrane and the Tri-City Americans picked up right where they left off in disposing of the Kelowna Rockets in four straight first-round games by blanking the Victoria Royals 7 - 0.

The fourth game of the night saw Portland down Everett 5 - 2.

All four series have their second game set for tonight.
