Just two games were on the Western Hockey League schedule last night (September 26th) with four local players suiting up.

Airdrie’s Gary Haden had one assist for the Medicine Hat Tigers who let a 2-0 lead slip away to fall 3-2 to the Edmonton Oil Kings. Airdrie’s Jake Neighbours was a -1 in that game for Edmonton.

Meanwhile, Airdrie’s Cayde Augustine and Didsbury’s Kyle Crosbie were held pointless as the Kelowna Rockets lost 4-2 to the Prince George Cougars.

Many local players will be back for a busy night as the WHL season continues with 9 games on Friday.
